The hostess, Cecile, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She resolved some issues on the spot and always checked with all the guests during breakfast. She was kind, helpful, and always available. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The location is also great, walking distance to the historic part of the city, close to the origani museum and aquarium.

Colonial style property, very pleasant rooms, nice seating area although perhaps a little tired, A very nice touch was that staff put out jugs of water so that you could pop in during the day to refresh yourself even after checking out (if, like me, you had left luggage there).

The location is great!! Rooms (bed) very big and confi. Breakfast and coffee delicious. Pool is small but I was able to enjoy it a little big after the breakfast with no other people. Anyway you should be exploring beautiful Colonia and not sit at the pool :-)

Perfect central location with easy walking access and distance to everything. The Hotel still holds its charm and character and rooms were large. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided information to our many questions.

This is a beautiful hotel full of charm and character. We had a memorable stay and would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Colonia - a destination worth so much more time than the usual day trip from Buenos Aires. The rooms are charming and full of character and the courtyard is a lovely place to relax in the evening with a beer.

Lovely clean room in a good area of Colonia. Nice grounds and pool. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast.

Lovely character property. Very helpful accommodating staff. Pleasant garden/terrace area with small pool to cool off in. Breakfast was good we enjoyed our two night stay and are going to return there for the final night of our trip. So that says it all really.

We had a spacious room on the second floor overlooking the courtyard. The room was sunny and bright. The shower was great. The breakfast was delicious with homemade sweets, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed OJ. The king bed was very comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. Plus - the staff were so kind and friendly.

Good breakfast, great location, sweet staff, great value, clean & fun decor. Excellent base for exploring Colonia del Sacramento. Recommend staying a night or two. Lots to enjoy in this charming town (especially after the day trippers leave)

The staff was friendly and always pleasant. The entire place had a fab vibe. We spent six days here and immensely enjoyed the experience. The buffet breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again - old-fashioned charm and hospitality.
